Kristijan has been with the company since it commenced operations in April 2009.  Kristijan has developed the company to the level as it is today and continues to drive the Company 

Kristijan is an accomplished leader with attentive, analytical, communicative and organization skills with a hands on approach to the daily operations of the Company.  Being very versatile and adaptable, together with developed negotiation and personnel management skills, he has the ability to successfully manage and complete projects to Client expectations.

Kristijan has overall accountability for the retention and new business growth across our global business, covering the Americas, Africa, Middle East and Asia.

Kristijan has vast experience in tenders and cost control management.  He has overseen a number of major global projects to date including remote regions.

Global Vice President – Operations

Milan has more than 50 years experience of providing catering, housekeeping and laundry services in the offshore industry globally including remote regions.

He started his venture in the business at the age of 18 years old and has worked his way up to the position of Global Vice President – Operations, a post that he has continuously decided to keep over the last 20 years due to his dedication to the quality and focus of on-site hospitality services. In his years he has initially worked directly for ship owners, assisted to set-up a high-end hotel in Aruba and since has worked with only 3 catering companies where with the first one he was engaged for a period of 25 years, second one for 9 years and last, but not the least, Global Food Services which he has assisted to start-up in 2011, and where he has been engaged on a number of project start-ups worldwide. 

Milan is a passionate and qualified Chef and ensures these high culinary standards are delivered during Global Food Services projects with a hands-on approach to operations.

Catering & HSE Manager

Michael has more than 30 years’ experience in hospitality services in the shipping and offshore industry.  Michael has worked his way up from being a Junior Catering Rating with Ben Line and P&O Containers in the early 90’s through to Head Chef, Catering Superintendent and Fleet Catering Manager with companies such as Stena, BP and Emas AMC.

Michael also has extensive experience in training and developing catering personnel due to his experience,  he spends time offshore during initial mobilizations as well as regular ship / rig visits where he conducts training and audits.

Michael is qualified Trainer through Highfield where he can deliver accredited Food Safety & Nutrition qualifications. 

His responsibilities also include tenders, budget control, vessel and supply chain audits.

Michael also has extensive experience in bringing new deliveries on line from yards in countries such as China, South Korea and Japan.  He has also covered a number of longevity refits/modifications in Singapore.

Michael has overseen a number of offshore projects over the years.  As a Hotel Management graduate, service delivery is very important to Michael, with the focus on delivery high standards of hospitality in his management of operations.

In his spare time Michael is a keen cyclist, enjoys playing golf and following Nottingham Forest.

Finance & Administration Manager

Karolina has been with Global Food Services since the company commenced operations in 2009.

Karolina brings a wealth of financial experience and skills to the organization. 

Karolina oversees Client invoicing for all offshore and onshore activities.

Karolina develops strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of the organization.  She is able to develop strategies that work to minimise financial risk; this includes producing financial reports related to budgets, account payable, account receivables, expenses etc.

Karolina holds a Master’s degree in Economics and Business Studies.

Procurement & Post Order Control Manager

Matija joined Global Food Services in 2019.

Matija has years of experience in managing supply chain operations.

Matija manages the company’s sourcing capabilities and supply chain.  He is responsible for strategizing and negotiating with suppliers and vendors in order to acquire the most cost-effective agreements and to reduce procurement expenses.

Matija also ensure performance tracking of suppliers and overall evaluation. Matija ensures PO’s are updated onto the Company database and works closely with accounts to ensure invoices are processed.

Document Control Executive

Mihael has been with Global Food Services since 2015.

Since joining the Company he has been responsible for ISO 22000:2018 document control and part of the compliance team.

Mihael has also been program coordinator for projects with Emas AMC,  Saipem and Noble Drilling.

As Cost Control Executive he also verifies invoices, quality of goods and checking supply deliveries to vessels worldwide.

In his spare time Mihael enjoys skiing, snowboarding, walking, motorcycling and house renovation.

Crewing Executive – Western Hemisphere

Elizabeth joined Global Food Services in 2019.  Elizabeth brings a wealth of experience in Crew Management along with all aspects of seagoing personnel administration. 

Elizabeth ensures each project is manned with qualified, medically fit, and experienced catering personnel, this includes pre-employment screening, interviewing as well as hiring of personnel.

Elizabeth plays a pivotal part in the day-to-day operations of the company. 

Elizabeth ensures all staff documents including certification and medical records are kept up to date on the Crewing database.

Elizabeth works closely with Kristijan and Michael on daily activities of the company including crew deployment, travel and client co-ordination during mobilization and crew changes of staff.
